Coach Todd has been coaching high school and RCBA and club for over 13 years. He is currently coaching at Martin Collegiate and also the club team Regina Sonics that represented the prairies as Team Saskatchewan at the Jr. NBA Canadian championship
Coach Caitlin has been involved in basketball since she joined RCBA in grade 1 and her love of the game blossomed from there. She competed with team Saskatchewan from 2011-2013 and then joined the University of Regina Women’s basketball team from 2013-2018. During her time with the Cougars, they won the Canada West Championship in 2018, placed 3rd at the National Championship and she was named an Academic All-Canadian 4 times. She graduated from university with a dual degree in Education and Kinesiology.
Not only has Coach Caitlin been involved as a player but she has also been involved as an official and a coach. She has been an official with RCBA and RABO for 11 years and has just recently embarked on her coaching journey. She has coached players individually as well as coaching teams at the high school level at O’Neill, Leboldus and with Special Olympics.
Coach Leah was a multi-sport athlete growing up. She was a member of the RHSAA basketball, volleyball and track and field teams and played 4 years on the Basketball Sask Provincial teams. Basketball was her choice of sport as she went on to play 5 years with the University of Regina Cougar Women’s Basketball team. During her 5 years with the Cougars, she was a part of the team that won a National Championship in 2001, she was named Academic All-Canadian in 2004, and was co-MVP in her final year in 2005.
Coach Leah graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Education Degree and immediately started teaching and coaching with the Regina Public School Division with her team winning a Provincial title in 2006. Leah has been coaching the sport of basketball for more than 20 years. She has coached with Basketball Saskatchewan, numerous camps, clinics and club teams, as well as volunteered numerous hours coaching school and community teams. She currently co-coaches a developmental club basketball team with girls from all over the city.
Coach Sean is responsible for preparing student-athletes for personal, academic, and athletic success. Coach Sean comes with a background that is sports-focused. He is a former member of RHSAA league for track and field, basketball, and played wide receiver in football. He ultimately chose to pursue track and field for his university tenure with the University of Regina. His relay team came out top 10 in the University of Regina and participated multiple times across Canada in track and field events. but never lost the love for basketball.
Coach Alek has been playing basketball since grade 6. He played for the Saskatchewan Provincial team for three years and competed against the top Canadian players at the Canadian National Juvenile Championships Under 17 in Vancouver. He finished his Saskatchewan Provincial team commitments in 2001 at the Canada Summer Games where the team finished 5th in Canada. These experiences at the Provincial level prepared Coach Alek for his playing days with the University of Regina Cougars Men's Basketball Team. In Alek's first year playing with the Cougar's he was awarded the Rookie of the Year award in their conference. He played 4 years with the University of Regina where he obtained his bachelor of psychology. Coach Alek looks forward to giving back and teaching young up and coming athletes how to become a better person and a better player.
